Day 1 Desert Tour from Fez to Merzouga

Medina of Fez

Around 7:30 am, your English, French speaking guide will pick you up from your accommodation. Hop inside a very comfortable and air-conditioned Mercedes minivan and begin your 2 days desert tour from Fez to Marrakech or back to Fez

Ifrane
30 min
Kindly note the road to Merzouga is 7 hours long. However along the way we will make several stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the kingdom, to rest and a break for lunch.
Our first stop is Ifrane, an alp styled village in the middle atlas mountains. A stop for breakfast and to enjoy the Switzerland of Morocco. -
Azrou Cedar Forest

Continue to the Cedar forest of Azrou, inhabitant by macaque monkeys eagerly waiting along side the road for passengers to feed them.

Midelt

Arriving to Midelt and an hour break for lunch, in a local restaurant.

Errachidia

Continue south, you will start to notice the changing landscape from green, and mountainous to dry and desert-ish.
Just before Errachidia, we will stop at a view point to look over a Oasis of 40 KM stretching of palm trees. -
Merzouga

Arriving to Merzouga, ride your camel through the golden dunes of Erg Chabbi for around 45 minutes. Arriving to the camp climb one of dunes to watch the sunset. After dinner served followed by a live drum show around a bonfire.
Day 2 Desert Tour; Merzouga to Ouarzazate Via Todgha

Day 3 Desert Tour; Ouarzazate to Marrakech

We continue the 3 days desert tour along the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs”, until Kalaat Mgouna - The City of Roses. We also visited the traditional villages of Skoura and 'El Kelaa des M'Gouna.

At lunchtime we stopped in Ait Benhaddou, the most important place on the 'Thousand Kasbahs' route, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Very famous for having served as a stage in many Hollywood films, such as: "The Mummy", "The Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones".
